These workshops are sponsored by the University of California Irvine, the Alabama Space Grant Consortium, NASA and the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Additional sponsorship is provided by Sci-Quest Museum of Huntsville, who have generously provided facilities for these workshops. An assemblage of private and corporate sponsors have also been utilized in providing student support, enabling these students to participate in the workshops and attend the launch of their protein samples into the microgravity environment.
